House Bounce is a full featured real estate marketplace. It is free to all users including individuals, investors, and real estate agents. Anyone can post properties to the site, and anyone can search the database.
There are no listing fees or sales contracts. The site is truly free.

In order to list a property you must create a free account. Once registered, click on any of the links to list a property and simply fill out the form. Once the property is listed you can go to the "My Account" page and click the "Manage Images" link for that property to upload images. There is currently no limit on how many images you can upload for each property.
Your listings will be visible on the "My Account" page when you log into the site. From this page you can view, update, delete, and renew listings. You can also see how many times a listing has been viewed and how many people have added a listing to their watchlist. Housebounce.com is the only site we know of that allows you to track exactly how much activity your listings receive. You'll even get an email the instant someone adds one of your listings to their watchlist!
During the listing process you will need to specify if you are selling the house by owner or through an agent, and you will need to add the appropriate contact information. When viewing listings, website users will either see your contact information, or your agent's contact information, depending on which option you selected. Interested parties will use this information to inquire about the property.
Posting images of your property dramatically increases your chances of finding a buyer. Housebounce.com makes it easy to post images. From the "My Account" page, click the "Manage Images" link for the listing you want to add images to. If you have not uploaded any images yet, you will first be asked to upload the main image for the listing. This image will be the one displayed in search results and elsewhere as the representative picture for the listing. Once the main image has been added you can upload as many additional images as you wish. The manage images page also allows you to delete images or change you main image.
Images are automatically re-sized and thumbnail images are automatically created by the Housebounce.com website when you upload them, making it very easy for sellers. Large images are set to a width of 425 pixels wide, and thumbnails to 115 pixels wide. In both cases the proportions of the images will be maintained ensuring that they are not distorted. In other words, all images will be the same width, but they may be different heights depending upon the original image size. The image tool will except most image types including GIF, JPG, JPEG, BMP, or PNG.
To update your listings, log into your account. When you log in you will be taken to the "My Account" page that shows your current listings. Click the "Update" link for the listing you want to edit and make the necessary changes. Updating a listing also automatically renews it for an additional 45 days.
A listing must be renewed every 45 days or its status will automatically be changed to "Off the Market" and will no longer be available to website visitors. To renew your listing, log into your account. When you log in you will be taken to the "My Account" page that shows your current listings. Click the "Renew" link for the appropriate listing to renew it. Once renewed the listing will stay active for an additional 45 days unless you change its status manually. Listings are also renewed anytime you update them as explained in the Update A Listing section above.
You will receive two email notifications warning you of an approaching expiration date on a listing. The first warning will be 10 days out and the second, 3 days out. If you let your listing expire it will still appear on the "My Account" page when you log in. To re-activate it for another 45 days, just click the "Renew" link. If you want to permanently remove the listing from your account, use the "Delete" link as described below.
To delete a listing, log into your account. When you log in you will be taken to the "My Account" page that shows your current listings. Click the "Delete" link for the listing you want to remove and confirm that you want to delete it. Once you delete a listing it will be permanently removed from the system. If you only want to temporarily remove the listing from searches, use the "Update" link and change the listing status to "Off the Market". By doing this the property remains visible to you, but not to others. When you are ready to activate the listing again, simply change its status back to "Active".
The watchlist allows you to monitor listings you are interested in and makes it easier to track and compare homes. Your watchlist appears on the "My Account" page when you log in. To add listings to your watchlist, use the search form to search for listings. When you locate a listing you are interested in, click on it to see the detailed view. At the the top of the page you will see an "Add to Watchlist" link. Click on it to add the listing. When you return to the "My Account" Page you will see the items on your watchlist. From your watchlist you can view listing details or delete listings from your list.
A unique feature of the Housebounce.com watchlist is listing update alerts. By adding a listing to your watchlist, you will be notified via email the instant any changes are made to a property on your list. If a property sells, the price changes, or additional information is posted, we'll let you know.
